It was announced that a total of 77,768 candidates were reported to register for the WAEC GCE examination, with 73,424 candidates taking the exam at 638 centers spread out across the Country. From the total 73,424 candidates who took the exam, 36,141 were male and 37,283 were female, accounting for 49.22% 50.78.%. Of his 73,424 candidates who took the exam, 143 had varying degrees of special needs. Of this number, 44 were visually impaired and 16 were deaf. 19 were albino and 9 were disabled. How to Check WAEC GCE Results Online
Candidates who sat for the exam should follow the procedures below to check their WAEC GCE Result 2022
- Go to the WAEC GCE Result checking portal at: (www.waecdirect.org)
- Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number. (comprising of your 7-Digit centre number followed by your 3-digit candidate number eg. 4123456789)
- Enter the 4 digits of your Examination Year eg. 2022
- Select the Type of Examination i.e. (PRIVATE CANDIDATE RESULT)
- Enter the Card Serial Number found on the reverse side of your Scratch card.
- Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Scratch card
- Click Submit and wait for the results window to come up.
