UMYU Post UTME Screening & Direct Entry Form –
The Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU) has called on candidates who applied for admission through UTME or Direct Entry to register for an aptitude test/screening for the 2022/2023 academic session.
The following are the eligibility criteria, registration process, and payment details:

UMYU POST UTME/DE Eligibility Criteria
a. Candidates must have chosen UMYU as their first choice institution during the UTME registration or changed to UMYU as their first choice institution before the screening.
b. UTME candidates must have scored a minimum of 170 in their UTME exam, while Direct Entry candidates must have a minimum of Lower Credit at National Diploma or a minimum of seven (7) points in their NCE/IJMB results.
c. Candidates must have the requisite O’level requirements for their proposed courses of study, including a minimum of five credits in relevant subjects (including Mathematics and English) at not more than two sittings.

Registration Process
a. Candidates should visit the UMYU admission portal: https://collegeportal.umyu.edu.ng/ug/applicant/index/
b. Click on “Register Account” if they have not created an account or “Login” if they have an existing account.
c. Fill in the necessary information and create a profile.
d. After successful registration, candidates will receive an email and SMS containing their login details.
e. Candidates should log in to the portal using their login details to access the application form.
f. Complete the application form and submit it.
g. Print out the Screening Registration Slip and keep it safe.
Aptitude Test and Submission of Credentials
UTME candidates need to bring their payment slips to the aptitude test and provide hard copies of their credentials at the venue. The registration slip will indicate the date of the aptitude test.
Direct Entry candidates need to send hard copies of their credentials to the Registrar’s Office after completing the online registration.
Candidates who are visually impaired do not need to take the Post-UTME aptitude test but should send hard copies of their credentials to the Registrar’s office.
