Prospective corps members have been advised by the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to resolve any discrepancies in their graduation date during online registration before attending the orientation camp. This will ensure a seamless experience throughout their NYSC program.
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has issued an important notice to prospective corps members regarding the resolution of any discrepancies in their date of graduation during the online registration process. The announcement was made via the NYSC’s official Twitter account, stressing that any corrections must be made before reporting to orientation camps and receiving state code numbers.
The NYSC advised prospective corps members to promptly reach out to their Student Affairs Officers (SAOs) if they notice any inconsistencies in the dates uploaded by their schools. The organization emphasized that it is crucial to correct such errors before proceeding to the orientation camps. The NYSC strongly advised against attending the camps without first resolving any discrepancies in the dates of graduation.
The notice stated, “All 2023 Batch A Stream 2 Prospective Corps members are to note that correction of any wrong date of graduation can only be treated by the NYSC during the online registration up until the release of call-up letters. The NYSC will not correct the date of graduation once PCMs report to orientation camps. Once a state code number is issued, the date of graduation can no longer be corrected.”
According to an earlier report by Eduparols.com, the online registration for the 2023 Batch A Stream 2 will take place between Tuesday, April 11 and Monday, April 17, 2023. It is advisable for prospective corps members to verify the accuracy and currency of their information before the registration deadline in order to prevent any problems during their orientation camp.
