What is the reason for NPC Training Postponement?
Dr. Ipalibo Harry, the Chairman of the Census Committee, informed the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Wednesday that the training of Enumerators and Supervisors earlier scheduled for April 13 has been postponed indefinitely. However, Harry reassured me that the postponement would not affect the conduct of the Population and Housing Census, which is scheduled to take place from May 3 to May 7.
According to Harry, the National Population Commission is prepared to conduct a credible census, and they have already concluded the training of Quality Data Managers and others. He further added that a new date for the training of the enumerators and supervisors will be communicated as soon as possible.
