The Nigerian Army Recruitment has begun its 85th Regular Recruits Intake (RRI) for 2023. Invitation for applications from qualified candidates for both tradesmen/women and non-tradesmen/women positions is now open. Nigerian Army Recruitment Requirements
Educational Requirement for the Application:
- All applicants must have completed the WASCE, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB with a minimum of 4 credits or passes (including English and Math) in no more than two sittings to be eligible. Furthermore required for applicants in the trades is a Trade Test/City Guild Certificate. For further information on certain trade requirements, visit the website of the Nigerian Army.
Other Requirements:
- Be a natural-born citizen of Nigeria.
- Own a BVN or National Identity Card
- Meet the Nigerian Army’s criteria for health, fitness, and mental health
- Have not been convicted of a crime
- Possess a valid birth certificate or age declaration that has been approved by the National Population Commission, a hospital, or a local government council.
- Meet the required heights of 1.65 meters for women and 1.68 meters for men.
- As of April 31, 2023, non-tradespeople and women applicants must be 18 to 22 years old, while tradespeople and women applicants must be no older than 26 years.
How to Apply for Nigerian Army Recruitment Form
- Go to https://recruitment.army.mil.ng/darrr to access the online application portal.
- With a working email address as your username, create a user account.
- Use your username and password to log in.
- Print a copy of the application after completing it and submitting it.
- Print the Guarantor Form, then fill it out.
- When you visit the recruitment office in your state, print copies of the application and guarantor forms.
