According to the information gathered by eduparols.com, it is expected that around 1.6 million individuals who wish to gain admission into Nigerian universities, polytechnics, colleges of education, and monotechnics will have taken the exams by Tuesday 2 May. According to the Head of Public Affairs and Protocol Unit of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, Fabian Benjamin, there have been some issues with around 60,000 of the 947,000 candidates who have taken the exams so far.
However, he believes this is a reasonable amount given the number of candidates. While technical difficulties may occur, Benjamin ensures that all registered candidates will have the opportunity to take the exams. Some candidates had to be rescheduled due to technical issues on the first day of the exams, but the Board has arranged for them to take the test at a later time.
