EKSU Post-UTME / DE Screening Form – The Ekiti State University (EKSU) is now selling post-UTME and Direct Entry screening application forms for the 2022/2023 academic session. The application is compulsory for Direct Entry candidates. The University will also consider UTME candidates who scored 160 and above in the last UTME and are interested in the University, even if they did not make EKSU their choice. The EKSU cut-off mark for UTME candidates is between 160 and 250. The cost of the application form is Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000).
Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti has announced the commencement of the online screening exercise for all UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates who have applied for admission into the university for the 2022/2023 academic session.

The University will also consider UTME candidates who did not choose EKSU but scored 160 and above in the last UTME and are interested in changing to the University. EKSU gives concessions to its pre-degree students in keeping with senate approval.
The Ekiti State University (EKSU) will begin its Post-UTME screening exercise on October 3, 2022, without conducting an examination.
Candidates who have not written their O’level examinations are advised not to apply for the Post-UTME screening exercise. Instead, they should wait until the results of their O’level examinations are released before applying for admission.
EKSU Post UTME / DE Screening Eligibility
- This statement means that only candidates who selected Ekiti State University (EKSU) and scored at least 160 in the last Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are qualified to participate in the university’s post-UTME screening exercise.
- The minimum UTME scores for Law, Nursing, and Medicine (MBBS) at EKSU are 250, 220, and 250, respectively. Candidates who scored lower in any of these courses can still apply for the post-UTME screening into other courses they are interested in and make the change on JAMB CAPS to be considered for admission. It should be noted that EKSU only accepts JUPEB with a minimum of 7 points for admission and not IJMB.
- EKSU requires candidates to have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB, obtained in not more than two sittings. Direct Entry candidates must have a minimum of LOWER CREDIT to be considered for admission.
- EKSU will consider Direct Entry candidates who wish to change their choice of institution to EKSU.
- Candidates who do not take part in the screening exercise will not be eligible for admission into Ekiti State University.
How to Apply for EKSU Post UTME Screening Form
Take the following steps below to apply;
- Visit eksuportal.eksu.edu.ng and click on ADMISSION.
- Create an account by providing the required details. Make sure to provide an active email and phone number as a verification email will be sent to you.
- Log in to your dashboard using your email or JAMB registration number and the password provided during signup.
- Select the type of application (2022/2023 PUTME application) on your dashboard.
- Input your JAMB registration number (UTME) on the form page. If you chose EKSU, your information will be populated automatically, and you can proceed to fill in your other details. If you didn’t choose EKSU as your first choice, you will have to fill in all your correct details first, starting with your JAMB registration number.
- Click on PAY NOW to redirect you to REMITA Online Payment and pay for the PUTME screening form.
- Attach a 1″ x 1″ coloured passport photograph with a red background in JPEG format only on the form page.
- Upload details of your O’Level result(s) obtained at not more than two sittings from WAEC/SSCE, NECO, and NABTEB.
- Preview, confirm, submit, and print out the completed screening form.
Please take note of the following:
- Candidates who do not participate in the screening exercise will not be eligible for admission into the university.
- EKSU provides concessions to its pre-degree students, as approved by the Senate.
- The screening process will be conducted entirely online and will not involve any examinations.
- Direct Entry candidates should arrange for their transcripts to be sent to EKSU via email at admissions.registration@eksu.edu.ng.
